Abstract
Universitas Mataram telah melaksanakan pembelajaran daring selama dua semester melalui SPADA, Zoom meeting, atau Google meet, bahkan banyak yang menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis kemampuan spasial dan model mental mahasiswa Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Mataram setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran daring selama pandemi pada mata kuliah kimia dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test post-test design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 48 mahasiswa Pendidikan kimia Universitas Mataram. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan dua jenis instrumen, yaitu tes kemampuan spasial dan tes model mental. Data dianalisis dengan uji-t menggunakan software IBM SPSS Statistic 22. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terjadi perubahan kemampuan spasial pada mahasiswa antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Selain itu, model mental mereka juga tidak berubah selama pembelajaran daring. Model mental mahasiswa berbanding lurus dengan kemampuan spasial mereka.
