Abstract
Sejak akhir 2019, COVID-19 mulai mewabah dan melumpuhkan berbagai sektor di banyak negara termasuk sektor pendidikan. Pencegahan penularan virus dilakukan dengan menutup institusi pendidikan dan mengubah pembelajaran tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran online. Guru dan siswa harus beradaptasi dengan proses pembelajaran yang baru ini. Salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran online adalah dengan pembelajaran asinkronus menggunakan media berupa video pembelajaran. Penggunaan video pembelajaran diharapkan dapat menarik minat siswa untuk belajar serta membantu guru dalam menjelaskan materi pelajaran. Sebuah survei dilakukan terhadap 41 Guru SMAN 1 Bintan Timur untuk mengetahui sejauh mana guru-guru telah menggunakan video untuk membantu proses pembelajaran online di masa pandemi COVID-19, jumlah guru yang membuat video, manfaat yang dirasakan serta kendala yang dialami dalam pembuatan video. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket yang terdiri dari pertanyaan terbuka dan pertanyaan tertutup yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar guru belum membuat video pembelajarannya sendiri. Bagi Guru, penggunaan video dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi. Di antara kendala yang dialami dalam membuat video adalah kurangnya penguasaan teknologi dan kurangnya kemampuan merancang konsep video. Oleh karena itu, guru disarankan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan yang salah satunya adalah membuat video pembelajaran.ÂReferences
