Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Kasus Ditinjau dari Self-Regulated Learning Mahasiswa

Abstrak
Penelitian sebelumnya telah mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis kasus pada perkuliahan online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan ditinjau dari self-regulated learning mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest dengan membandingan skor SRL sampel sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis kasus. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 55 orang mahasiswa yang mengikuti perkuliahan online biokimia selama satu semester. Skenario pembelajaran mengikuti sintak yang telah dikembangkan dengan dua kasus utama yaitu busung lapar dan COVID-19. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa kuesioner SRL dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis kasus memberikan peningkatan skor SRL setelah diterapkan dalam perkuliahan online. Analisis setiap pertanyaan menunjukkan bahwa pertanyaan 1 dan 2 pada indikator keterampilan metakognitif, dan 5 pernyataan pada indikator mencari bantuan menunjukkan peningkatan dengan persentase tertinggi dibandingkan pernyataan lainnya. Pengaruh positif penerapan model didukung oleh keterlaksanaan semua fase dimana fase yang telah dikembangkan pada model pembelajaran berbasis kasus telah meningkatkan interaksi antara mahasiswa-mahasiswa, mahasiswa-konten, mahasiswa-dosen dan mahasiswa-lingkungan sehingga menciptakan social learning environment (SLE) yang baik dalam perkuliahan online.
