E-Modul Interaktif dan Inklusif Bagi Penyandang Disabilitas Rungu di Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

Mahasiswa disabilitas rungu memiliki kendala tersendiri ketika mengikuti pembelajaran online karena hambatan pendengaran yang dialaminya. Perlu langkah solutif untuk membantu mereka mengatasi kendala yang dihadapi, salah satunya dengan memfasilitasi belajarnya dengan e-modul yang interaktif dan inklusif. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan e-modul yang interaktif dan inklusif bagi mahasiswa disabilitas rungu di perguruan tinggi. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE atau Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Tahapan dalam model ini dimulai dari pelaksanaan asesmen hingga proses evaluasi dari hasil uji coba. Sebanyak dua subjek mahasiswa disabilitas rungu di salah satu universitas di provinsi Banten terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyusun e-modul, pendukung visual berupa video dengan teks standar dan teks singkat serta pemilihan bahasa adalah hal penting yang perlu disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan kemampuan mahasiswa disabilitas rungu. Pemilihan jenis teks dan bahasa dalam modul maupun subtitle video perlu disesuaikan pada individu disabilitas rungu masing-masing.
